I tested it by installing it over v1.02. It uninstalls the old version first and then installs v1.04. It keeps registered so I think the old code works just fine.

As promised here are 20 WRZ$

Mine wouldnt update so i manually uninstalled it then ran the cab file. Still seems to be working without asking for new serial, its got to be using the serial entered in v1.02. :D THX

As i posted over on the orig thread. i installed 1.02 and entered s/n. Didn't even test it or run because of the bad feedback on 1.02. I just install 1.04 over 1.02 and no nags here with the codecs I use.

For the name & s/n, I just used my Owner name and the s/n on this thread.

I don't believe it is calling home. But be careful with this version. It might have code that'll try to detect if you are using a pirated serial (the serial in OP has been reported to CP). Who knows, it might even block your PPC from using future versions of CP all together.

I think running TCPMP is a better option.

Installs ok. Plays ok. Does not play well with task managers (will generate an error message on illegal exit -workaround is selecting Menu - Exit).

That said, I spotted a file in my PPC that wasn't there before. It's called Open_Count.3gp...

that's weird.. count down.3gp is a default media file made by the ROM.. it ships with your phone..

Yes, "Open_Count.3gp" is certainly in all the HTC devices I've owned recently. Not sure why it's there, or why it's a hidden file, but it's nothing to do with CorePlayer.

It probably just means that CorePlayer's browser views hidden (system) files and you've never enabled "Show all files" in your File Explorer...?
