Forget about this... Bullshit! There is no REAL portable version as the application will always store certain data on your device. Actually this is only a zipped program folder, nothing else. So use it at your own risk.

Does not work with WM2003. Actually none of the above work (player.exe 4/23/2009).

There is a newer one (player.exe 4/29/2009) which does work with WM2003 but is not pre-regged.

Where is it? If you can supply a newer version then it can be cracked.

Is it possible that coreplayer save the settings made by user in an other folder then /program files ? Cause i have an chinese device where /Program files is in rom and after every softreset i loose my setings.

I tried it with a mortscript but without any success:

xCopy(SystemPath("ScriptPath")\"\sdmmc\Core\config.xml", "\Application Data", TRUE)
RunWait(SystemPath("ScriptPath")"\sdmmc\Core\PLAYER.exe")

Thanks, it seems though I cant control play/pause fwd/rwd with the buttons on my BT headset - same headset (plantronics p590) and PDA (HP614c) worked with Coreplayer 1.2.5. Windows media works fine, but coreplayer doesnt register the buttons at all. DOes anyone know whats wrong?

I'm still not having any joy with WM2003 (first edition) on an iPaq 4150... just says that "CorePlayer was not installed successfully". Same error with this version and the 1.30 and 1.25 versions posted previously.

Tried installing to main memory directly and using cabInstl to a storage card, but same error.

I don't suppose anyone has any suggestions? Thanks :) I have TCPMP installed and that works fine, but would rather have CorePlayer for YouTube etc.

EDIT: The uncracked version, posted a few posts up installs but asks for serial number. The cracked version doesn't install :? The file structure looks different inside the cab files - in the "original" version they include VS_PPC~1.xxx and in the cracked version they include an XML file and the filenames are completely different?

Okay, I've got it working :-) Had to manually extract the files from the CAB and follow the "instructions" in the XML file to rename files, copy them to a storage card in the right folder structure and manually register a DLL.

Thanks for a great release :)

It seems your device simply doesn't like CABs created with WinCE CAB Manager. Weird though... But I am happy that you managed!
