The two-day battle of Voznesensk, details of which are only now emerging, turned decisively against the Russians. Judging from the destroyed and abandoned armor, Ukrainian forces, which comprised local volunteers and the professional military, eliminated most of a Russian battalion tactical group on March 2 and 3.
Russian survivors of the Voznesensk battle left behind nearly 30 of their 43 vehicles—tanks, armored personnel carriers, multiple-rocket launchers, trucks—as well as a downed Mi-24 attack helicopter, according to Ukrainian officials in the city. The helicopter’s remnants and some pieces of burned-out Russian armor were still scattered around Voznesensk on Tuesday.

I have no idea what was happening in Ukraine areas with Russian speaking people the last 8 years (as Russia says) but obviously this sounds like para-military organizations acting. Anyway this is only an excuse to invade a foreign country. And I do not think Russia would ever be afraid of Ukraine being with NATO. So much propaganda to achieve what? Take more areas under your control? It is so simple to understand that even if Russia had Ukraine under their control, then they would have borders with NATO countries like Poland.
But all of the above do not matter anyway. So sad to see this happening in Ukraine. All countries are with you. And I do not mean the Governments but all common people (including Russians who cant talk because they will go to jail by russian law). Governments look at their own benefits and act accordingly even if it US or China or whoever.
I hope this ends fast and you rebuild your country again. Whoever does something bad to others is ready to pay the painful consequences. And I do not mean deaths.
Stay strong. Defending a country is always much stronger feeling than invading another country to make sure of your <<safety>> to show your strength. Pray for people and little kids lost their lives for nothing and even more for those who live to remember this. I hope your pain will ease by time.

Every day a first thing I do is check what happens in Ukraine. I live in Warsaw, Poland and see refugees everyday, trying my best to help.
My heart breaks for them and for all those who are still in Ukraine and suffer from this war. What russians do is crime against humanity.
Slava Ukraini!

As a former US Air Force combat veteran, my heart goes out to the Ukrainian people. Well, with my disabilities there is not much I can do, but people are coming to help you. My neighbor, who is a former US Army Ranger, left last week for Ukraine and left his family behind and does not know that he will ever return home. My wife’s nurse, her husband has also left to join Ukrainian forces from the United States. He is a former Marine force recon sniper. If I could, I would pack up my Barrett and my Tavor and I would meet them there. Stay strong, my friend. God be with you.

I read the article/essay, it's eye opening, will share with my friends
