Q. Where is the settings button?? (or How can I access the settings menu)?
A. You have three easy ways of accessing the DosBox Turbo Settings Menu.
1. From Landscape Mode: from close to the top margin, swipe down to show the ActionBar. From the action bar, you can access the settings menu as well as many other options.
2. From Portrait Mode: The actionbar will always be visible, and you can just access the settings menu by clicking the (3 dots) at the top.
3. From either Portrait or Landscape: Place your finger near the left margin and swipe right, you'll have access to the DosBox QuickMenu.

Anyone having issues with this version where it will only let the emulator have 4meg of memory? (Settings, scroll to bottom, DOS Memory: 4MB)...

Consequently, nothing really works that well... was just wondering if it is a problem with this particular version (2.1.20a) of the app itself, or if it was a by-product of the patching (bad patch? or maybe anti-crack/DRM??)...

4MB is too low for DOS. I think at least we need 16MB for DOS Games

Is this patch complete? It doesn't seem like it where the settings show 4MB only for the emulator.

This is definitely DRM, the application knows it's cracked and then ceases to function well..

i am facing the same issue.
installed on nvidia shield tablet.
already tried make changes to dosbox.conf "memsize=4mb" to "memsize=256mb"
it will revert back to 4mb.

finally i installed the free version "aFreeBox".
everything looks the same like DosBox Turbo on the interface. so in this version you can make changes to memsize.

so, just like the guy above said. its definitely the DRM - blocking/protecting the app.

BTW: i registered into this site just to leave a comment here specifically.. coz i was also going crazy over the 4mb issue.. makes me nuts until stumbled upon this site. it did not cross my mind that this was actually the work of DRM until now. haha. thanks.

Even with lucky patcher and modded gplay store doesn't let it change that setting.
