Just tried it...... and it's 3 times slower than 1.1..... going to install 1.1 instead.

Zodttd said to not load from a save state, you will obviously run into problems. start a fresh game or load from a memory card.
I have not tried 1.4, but 1.5 is out and is supposed to fix issues with 1.4.
