Overview: psx4droid is the famous PSX emulator for Android 2.x devices.

It's fast and feature packed including:
- Supports eboot format! (compressed too!)
- Supports BIN,ISO,IMG,PBP,Z,ZNX
- BlueTooth (WiiMote) controller support
- Trackball d-pad
- Memory card / save states.

Changelog:
- Major bugfix release to v1.4. Should be as fast/faster than v1.1 with all the compatibility updates included.
- Fixed a mistake made in cycle counting / timings that made many games slow down to a crawl.
- Sound rendering has been tweaked to give as high of quality playback possible while still maintaining performance.
- Save states from previous versions should work fine, though you may encounter sound playing back too fast.

Trying FF7
while on 1.1 was good enough to play, 1.5 is too slow to be playable and sound isn't better at all :(

Depends if your phone has a decent CPU to be able to run it. I say you would need something north of 800mhz minimal for this app, Or mabe less if you plan on only playing 2D games like Puzzle Bobble

Don't use old save games, Start new. Also complain to the dev on his site and he'll be better able to help you then us

It's stable on Galaxy S. This version fixed some tearing in graphics I had when running certain ROMs in v1.3, but the sound is still choppy and the games slow down sometimes.

Hi,

I tested version 1.5, i have a Htc Desire...

I have tested 3 games and those were allways on img format.
Gran Turismo
Mortal Kombat trilogy
Mortal Kombat 4

MK4 and GT are running but this not smooth, also the sound is horrible !
MK trilogy freezes with the MK Trilogy logo...

Do i need to change some settings or what shall i do ?
