The frame rate given in this paper is the result when the mobile phone is full of frequencies. However, when the Android device gets hot, the actual performance is only 50-70% of the full-frequency performance, and the game frame rate will drop by more than 1/3. About DamonPS2 Emulator and PPSSPP Emulator comparison:
We want to create a smooth PS2 emulator as PPSSPP!!!!! But ……, We found in the test, PS2 original machine peak performance is 2 times the peak performance of the original PSP machine.So theoretically, any PS2 emulator needs twice the hardware performance of a PSP emulator if you want to run the game smoothly. In other words, if your PPSSPP Emulator can run the game full frame, then the DamonPS2 emulator game may be running only half the frame rate of full frame.And, because the PS2 original machine uses some techniques to prevent frame skipping, DamonPS2 can not jump frame like PPSSPP.

Do you have a modded Google Play Store, as is required for the pro activation to work? You need root access for that, I suppose. I was considering buying the app, but it looks all so shady with their weird permissions. Phone calls, for example.

FYI... here are what some of the permissions are for.

Phone calls = to pause the emulator when you get a phone call (standard just like with any app/game available on the market).
Internet = to be able to do license check when first opening the emulator (after it's verified you can turn off data if you want and the emulator works fine, it's not constantly connected to the internet like some think/say...).
Storage = to be able to read/write files on your internal/external storage (ie, Game images, Save Files, Bios file, etc).

I could be very wrong but I don't think there has been any properly cracked version of this emu in ages, they all just claim to work with modded google play even though it's not the case. Maybe the whole scene should get together and do a proper crack of it and remove all the terrible spyware and ads from it also, it is a great emu, but in a terrible package.

It uses to much stollen code. This emulator should be avoided at all cost. If you can`t trust them to write their own code, why would you trust them to not add shady thing to the app to steal info. The creators of PCSX2 own much of the code in this app. It`s their code that was stollen.

My review on Google Play

Too many ads, especially annoying video ads. Ad to download anti piracy key, add to install it, ad to get "coins" to actually start the game. I understand it supports the development but this is beyond excessive. Just might encourage people to pirate it...

Annoying adblock banner:

Basically says "It's OK to use Adblock, who doens't. But we need money.... blah blah blah" now turn off your adblocker for every site (that has these annoying things) making it pointless or fsck off
