Installed on my Evo on top of the previous version and 3G works perfectly for me. If youre having issues with 3g maybe try to get the earlier version and install on top.

Tried that too and still no 3G. I guess I'll just have to use wi-fi. Maybe someone can get a crack that allows 3G to work on all other networks (T-Mobile, AT&T, etc.)

Tested for best results:

Get the 2.0 hacked version that was working, install it, then install this as an update using Astro, or your fave file manager or app installer.

If this is your first time installing this app, it will only work over wi-fi.

p.s. this method seems to be working fro Sprint only, if you have a different carrier and you got the app to work please post how you did it.

sorry for that bro, a version that works for everyone will probably appear in the next few days, this is a very popular app for andro-heads.

You could try uninstalling the whole thing and starting from scratch, good luck.

Thanks partner. I did try uninstalling and reinstalling everything from scratch-but no go.

Like you said, someone will hopefully crack this by Sunday.

If it stops working you could always use a Verizon number from one of their stores.

hex edit classes.dex from the nfl.apk (look for getLine1Number)
download smali and baksmali from http://code.google.com/p/smali/
java -jar baksmali.jar -o classout/ classes.dex
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/attach ... ktools.zip
unpack the nfl.apk
overwrite existing smali folder with the new hex'd folder/files
repack nflnew.apk

any potential chance this one might get hacked to work over 3G (i'm on sprint)? or was there an "unhackable" update to this version to be used over 3G if you are not on the big red monster's network?

No I'm afraid that isn't possible.
Sprint lost NFL Mobile beginning of this year to Verizon.
NFL is not a partner with Sprint anymore.
If they were still together, it would be possible.

Wrong.. An earlier posting of this app on here worked perfectly with Sprint on 3G until recently. I am not sure if the binding was part of that or not, but you needed to o nothing except install the app before. Obviously that has changed(unfortunately)

I had previous version installed on Sprint wth Epic 4g. Uninstalled and installed the new apk here. I think the check if you are on Verizon is when you first start the app. Start the app while on wifi, then disable and see if it works on 3g. Works for me.

I installed the v2 version but when i started it up for the first time its asking me to DL the newest version.
