A very easy to follow guide has been developed, coupled with a special piece of software, that enables ANY Android 2.1+ phone to control an AR.Drone (certains assumptions made -- hardware gfx acceleration, decent cpu, etc)
Augmented Reality Professional Controller Front-end for the Parrot AR.Drone ( ARDrone ) quadcopter flying computer. Features Full Motion control, object following and tracking, management of all AR.Drone configuration data, and the ability to use your phone's azimuth axis (compass) to control the Yaw function of the AR.Drone.

Known Issues
- Disable Automatic Network Time Updates
AR.Pro will crash (bug in the native library)
Located in Android Settings->Date & Time
- Do not pair to your drone if you're using a Hotspot
built into your phone. AR.Pro uses the WIFI mac address
which is different from Hotspot one
- Parrot has stated that Wi-Fi config changes will likely void your warranty. Proceed at your own risk
