Works great on my HTC Thunderbolt. I was able to watch the Red Wings first game of the playoffs while I was playing in my game. I was able to watch from the bench as I came off the ice. Great job....

All games blacked out for me. Worked awesome for first while but now I can no longer stream live games. Anyone know a fix for this?

Can't you just ignore blackout?

What's different about this version? Any reason to ugrade from the last one?

The option was there to ignore at first, but now its just cancel. So something's happened.

with previous versions ... we were told to download/install "location spoofer" or similar apps from market ...

What this does is exactly as the name implied ... it spoof your location ... blackout happened because based on your location ... that particular game is available broadcasted via cable or satellite ...etc

read the blackout description on the FAQ of the app !!

Why am I unable to watch a game in NHL GameCenter LIVE™?

A game may not be available to watch live or within 48 hours of completion if it meets any of the below criteria:

Your local team is playing and televising the game on a local over-the-air station and you are located within that station's signal.
Your local team is playing and televising the game on a local regional sports network and your cable or satellite system falls within the distribution for that local regional sports network (regardless of whether your cable or satellite system actually carries that regional sports network.)
Your local team is playing and there is no local television coverage of the game
The game is being televised nationally - In the U.S., this includes NBC, Versus, and the NHL Network. In Canada, this includes CBC, TSN, and the NHL Network.

I'm traveling abroad. Can I watch live games with NHL GameCenter LIVE™ while I'm away?

Currently, NHL GameCenter LIVE™ is fully available throughout the U.S. and Canada with limited availability internationally (everywhere except Europe and the Middle East).

Fans in Europe (except Italy and Russia) or the Middle East may watch live games with a subscription to ESPN Player. Go to: espnplayer.com and choose the NHL Center Ice package to get live games on demand.

Yep before I had an option to ignore the blackout and watch anyway. Every single game worked. I arch a lot of jockey and have watched some of every game.. As of today, zero games work. I find it hard to believe that all 5 games today would be blacked out in my area. So km thinking somethings up with the app and they changed it.

Ill try the location spoofer

Spoofer changed nothing. Game in Detroit blacked out in vancouver. I wish gamecenter live was available to me in the market. Its one app I would totally buy.

Spoofer works fine for me. I just set my location to sub-Saharan Africa using Location Spoofer and run the Gamecenter app. Was just watching the Wings game (live in California, USA).

Location Spoofer worked for me as well. I was also getting the blacked out nonsense for any game...

Downloaded Location Spoofer, set it to Africa, and now enjoy the Bruins - Habs game.

I love Android.

Yep, use location spoofer and spoof yourself somewhere not in the us or canada. When you enter the app you can be sure it worked by going into settings, click blackout restrictions and having it find your location. It should tell you where you are in addition to showing the gps coordinates.

LOL ..

I just got a NEW problem ...

been using location spoofer with previous version(s) without a problem ...

today .... if I were to use my house's WIFI ... I get blackout ...etc

If I switch to my cell provider ( unlimited SIM ) ... everything works dandy ... LOL

I think I might keep older versions... as not much has changed and we are only after getting the game to broadcast ...right ?

;)
