Is anyone having problems with Audio option for games only showing up with no live game video option available? I only have an option to listen to games and not watch. I have an HTC Rezound running Ineffabilis 1.4

If you read the "tested" phones, you'll see your phone is not on the list. Unlike last season (where they let users try to see video even though they weren't on the approved list), this year they have only allowed video to stream to those phones on their "tested" list. They occasionally update that list on Google Play without an actual app update. Only way to find out is go to Play and look at the app listing, or simply try wait until you see a TV icon when you start the app.

Only problem I have with that is version 1.0 worked fine with Spring training games...now when I revert back to 1.0 from 1.1 no video is available. Seems like a local OS issue for me at this point. I've cleared all the data from the app (both 10 and 1.1) with same negative result. Looking for input from others with Rezound if they have same issue.

I tried it on my Droid Incredible and it won't let me watch any games unless I log in with my MLB acct...(Which I don't have one)...This seems like it is the free market version. It won't allow you to watch any games unless you subscribe.

I think it is the paid version (you can listen to the audio) but you still have to log in for video unless someone cracks it like the nhl app

ok I found the answer to my own question on XDA:

To edit the build prop, you need root. Using root explorer, go to system, then bulid prop. Long press the build prop file and select "open in text editor". You will see two lines that read "ro.product model=ADR6425LVW" change them to read =Nexus S. Save build prop and reboot device. Now you can stream the games. Hope this helps.

Didn't work for me either. After pulling the file from the phone and using a search tool there was only one entry for ro.product.model.

it would be awesome to be able to watch every game. maybe someone can trick the app into making every game the free game of the day?
