Just use Adguard with the official app. That what I`m doing, and I don`t get any ads plus I get 4K links.

Is anyone else getting a playback error where the video gets stuck or freezes and shows unable to play? Previous version didn`t have this issue.

Not true, their last version was 2.6.0 (this one), updated the 27th of December. I'm using it right now.
