Same thing happening in google tv as well. It's in early stages so it might be fixed on later versions

My understanding is that this got fixed with an update, I'm not sure exactly what version number that is, or if there has been an update since this mod release, but apparently they fixed it.

Other than the screen saver thing (screen goes to sleep, but audio keeps playing after so many minutes) this app works great on fire stick 4k... Fingers crossed for an update that fixes the issue.
