I bought SwiftKey last year, but with Lollipop, it was simply taking too much memory and was too slow. So, I loaded up Smart Keyboard on a whim and it's 100 times faster with free skins and stuff. Honestly, I can't think of any features Smart doesn't have over Swift. You can even make your own skins if you have skills in a photo editor. Smart loads up under 8 megs in memory where Swift loads almost 40! Give it a try if SwiftKey is giving you the bends.

You might try ai.type Keyboard . I tried it for a while , better in some respects than swiftkey, but eventually went back .

opt for older version of SwiftKey. nothing rivals close to SwiftKey flow predictions. not even Swype. forget other keyboards.

Smart Keyboard has ALWAYS been the best and my favorite. Its fast, stable, great skins. The only reason I switched to SwiftKey was because the predictions of SwiftKey are by far the best. It saves me lots of time, even if is a but slower. I updated to v5.2.1.120 and no problems.. also no improvements at all. Same same as previous version..
