I can see it in the settings, I selected it, downloaded the language pack and set Dutch as first language.
But the default keyboard keeps appearing in mail and text messages on my Sony Ericsson X10...

Does anyone has a solution for this??

Cheers,
Arnold

To actually use any of the alternate keyboards on Android you need to :
1. activate it in the settings->Language & keyboard
2. set it as default, for that, open any editing box, long press on it and a menu should appear, select the "Input method" and you'll see a list of all you're keyboards there (including the original that came with the phone). Select the one you'd like. In some cases you need to close the editing (press the back key) and then open it again for the new keyboard to appear.

Hope this helps.

P.S. never tried SE X10 but it should be the same for all Android phones.

Unfortunately, Sony Ericsson, X10, I do not know I was not brought to life into it, or install the Hungarian language package or not, and I tried everything. Some who go to these devices?
