open the apk in winrar and in /assets/files/ and /assets/keyboards/ delete all language files that you are not interested in, like for French:

assets\files\French.htm
assets\files\French.zdb.le
assets\files\French-full.htm
assets\files\Azerty-LS-Latin1.zkb.le
assets\files\Azerty-PT-Latin1.zkb.le

assets\keyboards\Azerty_LS_*.png
assets\keyboards\Azerty_PT_*.png

also edit assets\files\languages.lst and delete unwanted languages. I guess this file is the languages index.

You get the picture.

Swipe is included by default to Moto 2.2 devices. Not sure why you would want a separate app for this...

Actually, I got it to work when I just deleted the other language files, but did NOT edit the languages.lst file.

Actually for me the opposite.
I had to edit languages.lst to have only french in it.

Thank you all for your help! This saves me 11Mb! :D

That was happening on my previous version I got from the swype beta and it was not installed on the SD. I went with this version last weekend because I kept getting a message stating that my phone was not the same one that I used to sign up for swype. wtf?

oh for crying out loud, it's been answered in EVERY swype thread already, including this one. The person you're quoting received an answer on that very page. Or you just go to swype's website. Or you just not use it.
