8pen Keyboard v1.0
Requirements: Android 1.6+
Overview: The 8pen is a fundamentally new way of writing on mobile devices. Typing becomes faster, and less error-prone than on a conventional keyboard. It's fun, intuitive, and easy to learn!

Thanks. Works fine on my Droid 1. Just as I was starting to get the hang of MessagEase, now I am curious about this... It never ends. LoL

I bought it this morning the moment it came out. I love it, and I am already starting to get used to it. It's super fun and my friends love it too. It may take some time to get used to, but I should be using it quite well by Friday. I found it helpful to make acronyms to remember the order of the letters. I also wrote the layout on a piece of binder paper over and over and traced the letters repeatedly. I hope these tips help everyone get used to The 8Pen sooner and less painfully.

I see the potential In this program. How much faster/easier is using this program vice standard keyboard or something like swype? I am very curious. I have this as well and was interested in it possibilities. Please let me know!

I like it way more than Swype. I have been using it today, and it's awesome. I'm really starting to get fast and remember where the letters are. Once I have it down, I will be making fewer mistakes than with the QWERTY. Definitely try it out.

I downloaded it yesterday and started using since.
I think that when you get used to it it's far less error prone than a standard keyboard layout, but the "distance traveled by the finger"/"letters typed" ration is really lower than with Swype.
The amount of gestures I have to produce to type one letter in 8pen is the same than the one I need to type one word in Swype.

I'll try using it on a regular basis during the week, it's really something to try.

I also tried it.... but was 4 times slower than with swype. Sure I have to learn the new letter positions before I can write fast. Do anyone know if there will be more languages available or are these letter postitions the same for alle languages?

Anyone know what languages are available for this app?

I keep getting an error message on my Tattoo with the "Force Close" button with this file. Anyone else have this? Thanks.

Swype-type keyboards (namely SlideIt) seem easier and quicker for me. Besides the Hungarian language support, of course.
