Take this version and rename it to Swype.apk.

Put it in your root (system/app) after uninstalling Swype with titanium backup and deleting the lib file for swype in system/lib.

Put the new Swype.apk in system/app

Download and Install and run the Swype Installer from
https://beta.swype.com/android/get/
(Must visit from your phone)

You will have to create an account at swype.com. Login to the installer app. Download Swype and install it.
After installation you will have to select Swype as a keyboard. Then generate a new license for it.

Works like a charm... Good luck!!! :) Hope it helps. :)

*FACEPALM* so basically you registered and downloaded the SWYPE 'BETA' ...

The first part in red above wasn't really needed as you just registered and legitimately downloaded the real BETA and installed it!

I am just going to ignore your comment because people try to help and you are just being an idiot.
According to my cell, I have the same version listed above and swype is not out of BETA yet. They are all betas.

Furthermore, does anyone know how to get the Canadian French QWERTY keyboard? Totally just lost it with this update?

Thanks!!!

no he was just pointing out how stupid your instructions were, the part in red is completely unnecessary, there are a number of reason why people don't want to use the official swype beta. for example people don't want to register, for myself i use miui rom and after i use copilot live swype stops working, i have to disable swype and re-enable it for it to work, whereas with the cracked version, swype continues to work without having to disable/enable

here's an equally stupid instruction as yours, uninstall swype, run for 10km, stand on your head, register with swype, download the installer and install

In the beta release notes it says Dutch is included, but in the swype forum I saw that more people can't select it. Maybe it's just the languages.lst file which hasn't been updated.

From the official installer I can also only select English and Spanish. I hope a multilanguage crack will become available, so I can make my own EN/NL version to save some space on my Spica

Well for me. This was the only way it worked. I have tried many different ways online and they all failed. I discovered this way to work for me. I would always get a installation error. I am just sharing what I did. I am sorry if I am no expert at this. This is a forum for us to share how we do stuff and that is what I am doing. It may not be the best way, but for me, it worked perfectly fine.

why do you all want to crack this software? Do you have an android phone? - Yes? Than go to their website and get it for free with all language support. U can even enter fake personalities if u want.

So whats the advantage of cracking it? It is for free and everyone can get it easily

And do YOU really think that if you take the newest version and simply put some old polish dictionary to it then you really have the latest version of swype?
Think again!

actually, i think this - thats what we did the last year... change languages (depending on various license.dat files floating around), rename languages, change skins...

before insulting someone, make sure you did your homework...
