Did you even read the post? He's blaming the developer, smart guy.

I get the same bug. However, it is not a problem with the developer. I emailed the developers as I have emailed them in the past and I believe that it is something that they have done to get around people cracking it. I informed them of this massive bug and their response was to uninstall the app, restart my phone then reinstall from the market and directed me to a link to the demo version. I have since tried the demo version and there is no such bug!

Would seriously consider buying it but I think £4 is too much for a keyboard.

It IS too much. But I actually bought it although the demo version was giving me some bugs. Turns out I had the cracked version installed too. Unisntalled both and now everything's great.

Expensive, but it's better than Swype for me and since I use WhatsApp a LOT with groups, I needed a keyboard I could use with one hand.

SO NO ONE GOT THIS WORKING?

You're kidding me.
I've still no problems with my version that I bought - upgrading from "dodgy" 3.2 version.
Hmmmm

Swype 4 really isn't much of an upgrade. At the fundamental level, there is no improvement, just at the visual level. If you must have skins, SlideIT is the way to go; however if you're like me, skins don't matter and quality word prediction does.

3.2 had decent word prediction but quite a few flaws. 4.0 and 4.0.1 didn't help that at all. Sorry SlideIT... since then I've moved on to Swype, also found here. They're finally starting to match the features I "missed" in it.

Mr_Blobby wrote:Nexus One 2.3. Tried this but same problem if changing keyboards. SlideIT won't reload unless the data is cleared in settings.
It then opens up as if for the first time again so all settings are lost.

yeah, that happen to me too and i have the pay app from the market.

The only workaround is to install Titanium Backup, and then backup the Data of the SlideIT.

Once the problem resurfaces, reinstall the Data from Titanium Backup and your settings will be there again. Its about a min work.
