Touchpal v5.0
Requirements: Android 2.0 and up
Overview: This version of Touchpal is a leak which also supports themes. The swype-killer now has themes too.




1. It's better to Uninstall the V4.8 before install this new version.
2. This is a special version released in Chinese which add many function, and now support English and Chinese ONLY!
3. You need to download and install the Curve add-on from the settings menu within the keyboard app itself and you'll be able to select Curve as an option.

1 local place names, dialect cell thesaurus
2 top row of the toolbar can be customized to adjust the various tools in the order, you can add more components
3. Support for a key microblogging
4 Custom skins
5 word candidate can slide the bar, without going into more pages
6.9 grids can customize symbols left
7 custom phrase enter the shortcut, for example: press enter key to complete the next 3 home address
8 additional input touch treasure contest, you can self-test input speed, and can participate in the competition network
9. Manually adjust the priority of the word, the word delete users
10 English input using the touch-slide Po latest patent TouchPal Curve input, equivalent to a combination of swype and swiftkey

** Improved features **
1 thesaurus repair cells can not work problems;

I thought the old one was better than Swype, but the design didn't appeal to me as much. Now with the skin support, better basic look and other improvements im gonna be using this again.

i love this one and swift key, but swift key doesn't have a swype type option. So if this combined the intuitive nature of swift key, how it remembers what you type, it'd be perfect.

I enabled the curve. I love the animation with the curve track!

However now the hold and swipe down for symbols is not working. Any ideas?

Try Slideit! Youll never use anything else.

Curve enabled = no down-swipe for alt characters. It was this way on 4.8 as well. Disable curve, and the swipe-down motion works. But with curve, you've no choice but to long-press to select an alt.

It'd be nice to have both, but if you think about it, when using curve, how would the app differentiate a swipe-down for an alt character from a curve entry?
