Had trouble accessing this version installed over v3.23. It keeps force-closing; never lets me choose language; keeps resetting to Espanol. Wiped data using TB Pro and now it works. I still can't download language(English UK in my case).

Yeah, you have to uninstall any previous versions before installing, especially if it came packaged with the rom. Wipe data and then uninstall. See if it works better after reboot.

Yes, you are correct. There is a beta Swype version that is for HD devices if you are looking for out-of-the-box functionality. If you really want it make it work, there are ways to decompile the apk and edit the smali files to make it work. Just search around if you're interested.

In that case, it would help to add instructions for installing and a mention that this is a Beta version, in the title itself.

Actually, not all 3.x versions are Beta. Swype 3.26.92.38965 is an OEM version and can be found in the latest Samsung Galaxy Note ICS ROM.

On Galaxy Tab 10.1 with CM9 swype in landscape mode doesnt appear in full size, only 3/4

Make sure you run Swype for the first time (accept the terms, etc.)

Then when you go into the options again, Language Options should at the very bottom. Manage Languages is where you download more languages.

and make sure that Swype is set as main input methode

is someone able to help us by uploading some HD versions of swype?

I see we are quite a few needing one, i just got a S3 here and it's ridiculously small on both
portrait and landscape modes.
And Swype servers seem to cause errors for me (and many others according to their forums)
to try to get a fresh official version from them.

I agree, but not everyone would be aware of this fact. Also, many people wouldn't want to install Beta versions coz they could be buggy, and in this case, Swype collects user data. Not everyone is comfortable with sch things. It is therefore our duty to give all the required information and let people make the choice. Please add 'Beta' to the topic itself, that should be sufficient. Thanks for sharing though!

It's the latest official v3.26 version, newer the one that came on my S2, and have some problems with it.

Why u don't install swype beta, it's free and it's gorgeous

huge memory consumption on all swype beta + an service that collect contacts, bookmars, etc.
