This alternative gallery works great on my Galaxy S 2.1! Thanks Notion!!
There is a trick with famous .nomedia file for hide files/folders from gallery (images, videos) or sounds files from stock mp3player.
A .nomedia file is a blank file placed inside a folder. When the media scanner detects the .nomedia file, the media scanner does not scan that folder so the images in that folder don't appear in the Gallery app. It's a good way of having a folder full of images (like a skin for an app) and not have those images appear in the Gallery app. You can place a .nomedia file in any folder but the filename must begin with a period.

This is brilliant... smooth gallery app. Try this ppl. Way better than the stock gallery of desire HD.

yes all english menus... and working way better than default CM7 gallery3d... for me default gallery stutters and freezes sometimes in folders with 100-1000's of hi res pics or wallpapers but this seems to fly through the image previews and work much smoother so far..

".nomedia"-file might work for this app but makes no sense for music-folders because there is media you want to be scanned by your music-player but not the cover artwork in the picture gallery so this is not a solution.
