Ur device must have Camera2api enabled in ur device to Camera ports work. Which i think RN5 anf RN5Pro have.. Still u can enable thru unofficial methods ( custom recovery,magisk and all stuffs) then it will work well..
I have a poco which has camera2api enabled by default so installing as a normal apk works

Pixel 3 is camera beast and port of its camera (GCam) is probably the best camera app
