Hello guys) How to enable Camera2 API?) Custom ROMs (MIUI, CM, etc)
1) Root!
2) Open build.prop, make string `persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1` , save, reboot.
3) Check manual features by Manual Camera Compability utility.
4) then this app should work perfectly

I know it sucks when it crashes but
Check the post minimum requirements are Android Marshmallow 6.0
Why don't u try isntalling a custom rom it will make your phone more fluid and of course will add more functionality but only do it if you know about flashing roms
Goodday

I saw the Minimum Requirements posted by the Op but I guess I got a lil hopeful when he also posted...
"Try it on anyphone with a chipset ranging from 800 to 835 Soc"
Which my phone hits that range of Soc...
No worries though... In a couple of months I'll be the proud new owner of a Galaxy S10+ that's supposed to turn into a Ray Gun, have X-Ray Vision, and Make a mean Espresso... LOL
Thanks for your reply
