That's odd, I've got AFWall+ installed and QP Gallery Lite doesn't even show in that as asking for internet access.

Double checked it with App Ops and same again, doesn't even have internet access listed as a permission

Third check done with AdAway DNS monitor and again nothing triggered or DNS request made, etc

Edit: Correction.....this version is the Mod of the Mod of QuickPic 4.5.2, I ran check again and yes, it does NOT have server connection request, look like it's clean.
The Mod of QuickPic (by WSTxda in xda) does have server connection request as I stated above.

I searched many places about the definition of PUP, but none of them sure if it's not harmful.
BTW, is this mod coming from a reliable source?

Even play store is filled with shady apps which will ignore opt-outs from tracking. Reliable would be f-droid.
