VMLite VNC Server v2.2.4 ( LP / Modded GP )
Requirements: 2.1 and up
Overview: THE FIRST AND ONLY VNC SERVER WITHOUT ROOT REQUIREMENT
VMLite VNC Server allows you to remotely view and control your android phone or tablet from a desktop computer or from another mobile device using the popular VNC protocol.

Image Image

For normal work with the application u must have installed the modified GP
Or remove verification of the license in LP
LP - VMLite VNC Server - Open menu of Patches - Remove License Verification - Auto Modes - Auto Mode - Apply.

This app works on rooted and non-rooted android devices. However, for non-rooted devices, every time after turning the device completely off and on, you will have to connect your device to a Windows PC or Mac using a USB cable, then run a free desktop program, VMLite Android App Controller, to start the server on your device. Once the server is started, you can disconnect your device. If you don't turn your device off (but just let it "sleep"), then the server will continue running for months, if desired.

You can download our desktop program using this link:

http://www.vmlite.com/vaac/

If you can't start the server on your device, e.g., S3, Nexus 7/10, try to change to Camera Device(PTP), instead of Media Device(MTP).

- no need to root your android devices

- supports WIFI and USB connections. Coming soon: 3G/Internet/P2P access from any firewalls w/o any configuration.

- supports WIFI hotspot in case there is no WIFI and no USB connection. You can turn on your android device's Tethering and portable hotspot, so your PC or another device can connect.

Thanks Ms_Julia.
Has anyone started using this release yet & can confirm that it is full & works correctly IN ENGLISH ??
(4pda.ru seems a very nice site - but even g translate does a poor job from Russian to English.)

Thanks.

So, then...:

VMLite VNC Server v2.2.4
Requirements: 2.1 and up AND LUCKY PATCHER

Which makes it just like a release posted earlier that folks had plenty of trouble with.
This is exactly why I posted my reply querying whether anyone had gotten it to work correctly.

Only the OP claims confirmation thus far...anyone else, please ??

Read the topic on 4PDA
Except you nobody complains about job applications, only you have problems

Thanks Ms_Julia.

If you read the older post(s) here about VMLite VNC Server you will see that it has been difficult for some folks.

I have tried this app several times before with LP to remove license verification and it did not work.

One of the very nice things here is when users share whether things can be gotten to work correctly.
I am hoping that someone besides yourself will chime in here to say it works OK for them, just for positive confirmation.

I did try to read the topic on 4PDA - but it translated into a mess & I am very sorry if that somehow disappoints you.

If you visit the VMLite site you will also see that they barely develop anything - have almost non-existent support, many, many unanswered support requests - many folks who have paid for their stuff who report that they cannot use it - and plenty of stuff that has big price tags with such lousy support.

IMO, anyone who looks there sees that the site STILL says that certain apps will be arriving sometime late in 2011, and they have not updated their posts since then;
So, in response to what I've seen there I say that paying them is just crazy.
But they do have some good ideas IF they can be made to work correctly.

This part of your reply just baffled me, but did get that giggle:
Except you nobody complains about job applications, only you have problems

I have not applied for a job in many years and do not intend to start now - but again I do thank you for the giggles !!

Thanks Ms_Julia for posting this!

Unfortunatly, without root (or patched google play?) it does not seem to work. Without letting lucky patcher do any patching vmlite vnc server says that you have to buy it.
After patching with the option remove license verification and even the option to use LVL emulation, you can start vmlite vnc server but when you use the controller app to start the service you get the message "apk tampered", but in windows it says that the service started successfully.

Tried this with android 4.4.2 and 5.0.1, VMLite VNC Server 2.2.4 and 2.3.4.

It seems that more needs to be done, to get it working.

Would be nice if someone would sort this out :-)
