Because 5.2.0 requests to be updated to a newer version which you can't obtain without paying I have removed the updatecheck.

Uninstall previous Chandroid and plugins, then install this with a filemanager.
This is the real cracked version from 5.2.0 with /soc/ board added. I became aware of this site because of the virus uploaded by droidzfans right after my version was pulled from mediafire.

No offense to you, but I don't trust this. Also, I have to say, the timing of your post is rather suspicious. One post, offering a crack, immediately after a crack fucked up a bunch of phones here.

I was one of the victims of the previous so called "cracked" version and it reformatted my sd card and put a bunch of dick pictures on it. Even if your version runs, how do I know you didn't inject a bunch of trojan shit???

I'm sticking with Diversity's releases from now on, at least those are trustworthy.

Well i can assure you that it's real, not that that mather much, but i became aware of this forum because that hacker got me deleted from mediafire and posted his thing instead with clues to this forum and droifans. you can compare the sources if you want.

Look, the bottom line is that if you can change what the dev has done and remove checks, you can also add in virus crap. And for something like Chandroid, it's simply too risky. The only comparison that I trust is if it matches with what the dev has and doesn't go through this uninstall/reinstall thing because of signatures. The moment that sig has been tampered with, I can't trust it.

There is a limit to the ammount of damage that can be caused atm its mostly just inconvenience but yes i agree.

Yes, you can't edit an apk without messing with the signatures. You can compare the sources to see not much has changed so a virus needs a lot more changes.

If you really don't want to use a cracked release there might be an external way to crack it. You can change the hosts file of your android. Unfortunately you need root for that, on the other hand there exist http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpos ... ostcount=2 a way to root it without unlocking your bootloader or voiding warranty. http://onymousheroes.com/e4d84296 contains a text with a number equal to the 2-digit versioncode for version 5.2.0 it was 66, now i see that it contains 76. You need to find a server where you can put the file e4d84296 with the number of your choosing (actually i think a smaller number is ok too). But the server has to work by it's ip-adress. It might be possible to put in a fake server to let the 404 page of that page handle it, but that depends how that 404 page is made.

Use adb shell to su into your phone and change 1.2.3.4 with the ip(you might want to mv this file to /sdcard/ and back)
