So could you please confirm, that if you have installed an application via an APK file, rather than the market, this application/game will be able to be updated, even though it has no Android Market Link (as not downloaded from there) and it will be able to update to each revision of the software as it becomes available?

Or is this a third party app, managed and run by someone who simply downloads from Mobilism (and other sites) too???

I tried to update the free apps (installed from APK). This works if the application is available on Android Market. But the update is working is through Android Market. This application only tells about the new version

Oh okay. So it doesn't download the update for you? (from the Market)
So it is fairly pointless then?
