Hi X46X,
This is Albie from Latedroid, creators of JuiceDefender.
Apologies for the confusion, Mark (developer) is trying to sort out what happened as well - he's waiting for an answer from the Android Market Support team.
JuiceDefender Beta works as well, you can use that version.
As soon as we have news, we'll post an update on JD's facebook profile.
Hope this helps.

+1, Havin the same problem. Dont know how to get rid of it.
Ditto. Didn't happen before; does now. Ah well; both of 'em work.
Fixed the problem. I unistalled both, Juice defender and Juice defender Ultimate, Restarted the phone, installed Juice defender beta 3.5.6 free, from the android market, started the app once then closed it, installed Juice defender ultimate 3.5.6 (only) from the zip file in this thread, still got two shortcuts in app list, gave the phone a restart again and there was only one icon then.

You get two icons UNTIL you restart your home app.
The stock home app seems to hate JD, but I haven't confirmed this as the issue here... either way something is making my default Home crash every time it loads (so I switched to Zeam).
