A month or so ago

I tried to make DCIM folder in my USB drive, added 2 movies, installed latest experimental build 1.3.13. And used import files to Dropbox action, but nothing happened, they even dont start to upload (this was on XP). I will try it later at home in win7. Hope to make it work this time.

...same problem here on XP SP3 (I can choose import to dropbox from autoply popup when insert the usb drive but nothing happens after that

I installed the android app 2.0.9 and copied many jpg's to the mobile phone DCIM folder and the dropbox app on the phone does the job and uploaded the jpg so I got the free space.

There is a bug (at least in version 1.3.12) if you cancel the files before the upload (but after the indexing) you get at once the bonus space

@libero How should it be if it's working!? USB drive in > choose import to dropbox in autoplay popub > then? (nothing is happening after that here)

then you see a camera icon in the tray in place of standard dropbox icon and a windows importing the files. As soon as the import finishes it starts indexing and uploading with the usual icon in the tray.

I thought linking an edu address only helped in boosting the referral bonus? Or does registering with a california college email address get you the 20gb?

Yeah I forgot to mention its the referal bonus , then we used Google Adsense ( i think u get some free ads, someone randomly did it for me), to display our Dropbox referal link. Within 2 hours I had all the bonus referrals completed

Fake name generator seems like overkill. When making a spoof address just use whatever name, etc you will remember.

I've tried Californiacolleges.edu, but I'm not sure it actually generates a .edu email address?
