The best way is to find a custom rom and update your os at least to gingerbread, get root, replace the apk and set the permissions!

Please clear both cache & data before replacing the apk, It works for me!

I'm having a problem with any Google play market I download, anytime I try to buy an app, it gives me an error. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

No, just country restriction is removed in this apk.

I'm gonna try this, sadly the 3.5.15 modded version does not work for me at the moment (no market doctor support and no paid apps from the us market available)
