I use original Huawei Backup Software on my M3 Tablet. In there its possible, to mark two things: save or restore app only and save or restore apps data only. Mark both results in save or restore app + its data (config). So after update Ponydroid i went inside that Backup Software, marked: restore data of (former) Ponydroid only and let backup software do its Job. Did it that way many times, since that place inside wanted SDCard Folder is kind of crashed or removed, again and again for at least 5 or 6 builds of ponydroid..

So that way it lets you pick on ponydroid to save to external sd? I am confused

yes, that way it gets back, what was possible to choose on that old ponydroid versions, gone on newer builds: entry of path to external sd. So it becomes able again, to open the folder structure of that sd card, makes me choose any wanted (sub)folder to let / advice ponydroid to place download in there. No prob to get wanted new subfolder by type it in.

I cant find that version i try up to 1.13 no luck with picking sd card path just shows same path they want
