MailDroid is an ad-supported Webdav/POP3/IMAP Idle Push mail client written from the ground up and and not based on the stock Android mail client.

*FAQ*
1. Why is the message slow to open? You need to set preload options found in global preferences.

2. Why is Exchange not working? I support 2003,2007, and 2010. However, each one can be set up differently by your administrator. The usual issue is username which can be domain\username, username, or [email protected]

3. I search, but see no results? You need to set up preloading in order to see search results.

4. How can I have different notifications for sound and LED color? You can set this under the rules section in global preferences.

5. Why can't I see my folders in Hotmail? Hotmail in MailDroid runs under POP3 (Microsoft charges a license for ActiveSync) and POP3 does not support folders from the server. IMAP does support this.

6. Can you change the icon? If you have a good idea, email me and we can talk about it.

7. Will there be a paid version? Yes, a version exists on the market.

You dope. This is the FREE version.
You do realise we are MORE than capable of visiting the Market / Play Store to download it ourselves, where it most likely has not been modified or tampered with!!

Rather than posting the free software, why don't you spend some time and crack it to be full version?
Full versions = No Adverts + All Extra Features!

The point is that it is deceiving - as it is not warez! It is a free application! It should be marked as a free application and in a FREE category OR have "FREE" in the title of the news / topic.

This is not a share. There are dozens of alternatives to the Android Market / Play Store. There are dozens of alternatives for downloading apps instead of from the Android Market!

What is being complained about here, is that posters like blibli who post free apps only, are making the app look like a PAID APP with NO ADVERTISING, instead, this is a FREE app that either: Comes in a Paid version with NO Advertising - or - does not come in a Paid version - or - contains advertising and is the FREE versions - or - is the FREE app which has no advertising!

Either way, these types of topics that keep being posted in the categories with other mobile warez, are flooding the categories and become impossible to differentiate against others with the same name!
