I dont quite like viber. I dont wonna use your app as a default dial pad (only viber friends is enough) i dont want to see internet calls as ordinary calls in history log, because this messes with apps that calculate monthly usage and i dont have any idea of what i use from my plan. App will be better if Viber log is separated from ordinary log and when i make internet call to be recorded just in Viber history and ordinary calls in phone call history. I dont wonna see people without viber in the app. I wonna know when some one is not online, because you hear ringing all the time, but person might be offline. That is all!
When this is fix I may use your app because call quality is good, but only that isnt enough!!
In other words:
- Add online status
- Dont mess with regular phone call history, your service is quite different
- Option to hide regular numbers (see just viber friends), people misunderstand all that and sometimes they think i call somebody for free. Your phone is your ID, but it works through Internet.
Nobody wants to call GSM number from Viber or at least most, add option for that!

Regards!

@PROXIMO -

Thanks for your feedback, it's important to us. Regarding your points:

- This is something we are certainly considering to add in future Viber versions.
Meanwhile, when you use Viber, you can tell indirectly if your contact is online as follows:

When you make a Viber call, you will first see "Calling". It will change to "Ringing" if your contact is online and their phone is literally ringing.
When you text, "Delivered" means the message has been received on the other side's phone (they're online). If you only see "Sent", it means it's been sent from you, but pending the other side to come online (they're offline at the moment). So, if messages remain at "Sent" and do not become "Delivered", you might want to check with your destination contact whether or not they are connected to the internet.

- This is a known user request, and we hope to separate the logs in future updates.

- Actually, you'll be surprised. From user comments and statistics we see that this feature is actually very popular!
We invite you to enter our Feature Request page and post this request there, or join an existing similar suggestion. The more people join on a request, the faster it will become reality :)

Thanks for the compliments!

Please make sure that Viber is the cause for the battery drain by isolating Viber (having no other apps running) on a device with stock ROM (custom ROMs may cause this problem).

We conduct strict testings in our labs with several devices and other than when making a call (when it is natural for the battery to be used), we did not come across any significant battery drain when Viber was simply running in the background. Furthermore, over the course of over 15 hours, on average the battery use was only 2%.

You can find additional information on tests performed by Viber users themselves, which show similar results, at:
