Show Youtube Dislikes v0.5 [Free]

Overview: Bring back Youtube Dislike for Android (View Only)



This is a simple application, that parses the data from the "returnyoutubedislike.com" API, and shows you their estimate dislike count on videos.

When you open the app you are presented with a text box, where you can enter a youtube url and you will be presented with the given videos stats.

You can also click the 'Share' button inside the official youtube app, and choose 'Show Youtube Dislikes' which will open the app on the information site for that video.

If possible use the desktop browser extension, as you will be contributing to the project with your dislike data, and not just leeching it, helping everyone get more accurate results.

I want to thank returnyoutubedislike.com for making an awesome tool, i just wanted to make it available for mobile as well.

What's new:
- New way to display errors as the old way wasn't supported on all API's
- m.youtube.com now an acceptable URL

Totally separate from any YouTube app. Just post link into it for results. However I`m using Android 12 and it crashes as soon as I enter the link

What are you expecting? It won`t magically generate dislikes. It`s calculated using algorithms and old video data

Some here are absolutely right. It shows old results and basically makes no sense. If YouTube decided to remove the visibility of the dislikes, it was the right thing to do. It teaches us to be more tolerant of the creativity of others. I've never put a "thumbs down" mark if only because I've always appreciated the time of someone who decided to toil at a job like blogging. Yes, I may not have liked the result, but I have always been loyal to the community. I think it's time to forget about the dislikes and how much they matter.
