S-Voice v11.0.0.1 (Samsung Galaxy s4)
Requirements: 4.0+
Overview: The S-Voice APK

Image

The S-Voice APK has already been tested on several Samsung devices like the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3, and it appears to work without a hitch. According to the tests, it doesn’t play as nicely with AOSP-based ROMs, though.

Are you on a TW based ROM? If so, push it to system/app then rename it to S-Voice.apk and then change permission to 644. Reboot. Works fine for me on GNote1.

Not! It does work on Note1. You need to be rooted and push it.

It will not install in any CM/AOPK based ROM. You need TW Based ROM for it to work.

Working great on SGS2, JB 4.1.2 Rooted. Even in other languages.
I copied the app into system/app and changed permissions.
Two issues so far:
- It crashes after asking local for weather.
- I have to press the mic button after I speak, otherwise it does not apply the instruction.
It is very accurate though! ;-)

Installed without problems (it seems) on a Galaxy Nexus 3 with stock JB 4.2.2 Rooted. The app starts, but anything I say, I get a "network error" after few seconds, and nothing work.
Do I have to change permission ? Move the app to system app ? How can do this ? Please help. I have X-plore to do such things, but don't know exactly what to do.
thanks

I kinda figured that was the case but on the plus side installing the S4 version, uninstalling, and reverting to stock S3 s-voice fixed a problem I was experiencing. Bluetooth calling would bring up contact in s-voice but not make the call - uninstall and revert fixed it, lol.
