There is nothing confusing about the procedure. Applying patch to Android with lucky patcher is easy. And i would do it if i were you. If you want to guarantee that it works. It patches android OS core. And if you did that before and didn't change your ROM you don't have to do it again. That patch is for first timers or if you installed a new ROM. You can also check it very easily. Open lucky patcher. Press menu button. Then press "Patch to android". If it is patched it says this "(patch applied)". Both options should say that. If not check them and pess apply. It's that easy.

The main confusion is coming form the different posters. They don't check what is in the OP. They mix the instructions with definition. When it says lucky patcher is not needed anymore; it means you don't need to use lucky patcher anymore to remove licence verification of apps. You can just install and use. And that is what app does, not the installation procedure. You need lucky patcher for this modded play store to work. Do not pay attention to "what is in this version". You just need to follow "instructions", then you are good to go. But follow it word by word. Don't leave out things you think they are not necessary.

Say I want some free app from the Google Play Store (say Google Translate), is there a way to update the program when the version # goes up, or do I have to uninstall the app and re-install it from the play store?

Dayone,

You have to uninstall, buy the new version and then refund it.

Yes, usual procedure for free apps.

No!

OT: Currently I'm really wondering why I am giving help at all to people in this forum, while some posts of mine get randomly deleted for no reason.
I even fulfilled some request and never got any reward, while the responsible mod is simply ignoring it.
