Those who are having trouble accessing the "Advanced settings" on their tablet can use this trick to force phoneUI just for skype and access advanced settings from there (Works prefectly on my Galaxy Tab 2)

Install Xposed and App settings module from within it. Open App settings, search for skype, and under skype settings - set the Screen (dp) to 320*480 as shown in the screenshot. Save the settings. Now open Skype and volla!! you have the phoneui interface of skype where you can easily access the advanced settings

Warning: Xposed requires a rooted phone/tablet which voids the warranty.

A quick question. If I exit the app, will I still be notified of any messages sent to me via Skype and be able to receive calls? Or does the app need to be open and running for me to receive/be notified of calls/messages?

Thanks

Edit: I ask as I'm not seeing or being notified of calls or messages unless Skype is running - therefore I'm missing calls and messages and don't see missed calls or messages until I open the app.

New version 4.7 had aggressive battery savings thus leave Skype running all day with no noticeable battery drain.
