Doesn't work on my magic (android 1.6). Trying to download any clips kills the system. Any idea?

I was gonna post this one before but didn't have a URL, I was gonna go on my phone and get the URL (When I got it the version on the market was crippled not to work, but under "Developers Website" there was a link to the APK (That was handy, that way I could still download it right on my phone using the market without using a computer!!!) But it was pulled from the Market entirely (Sucks the same people who own Youtube own the Android market...)

when i want to download a video with youtube downloader, I get the message "error downloading" is it possible that it doesn't work in germany?
