Maybe if I have time, I will try to look in the VTS.
I also ever try to remove the ads by myself. The result is just like urs, every other video auto exit.
So seems it is coded inside the app, if it cannot download the ads, then it will auto exit.

It is working. The auto exit is already the bug since build 541 ads removed.

Seems to work, just occasionally fc...nothing to worry about.

It works for me. Have the same fc as others have mentioned but besides that it does the job It's intended to do. And fast too.

I will take the occasional fc over ads any day - Thank you OsmDroid!

Not sure where in the code it's causing issues, it may be an anti-hack feature built in; so if the codes modified it switches a flag on...? I'm not as proficient in android code as I would like though, so don't quote me on it. Maybe someone else would like to give it a look?

You can add these line to your hosts file (or using ur favorite adblocker)
127.0.0.1 m.tubemate.net
After adding, remember to save.
Then clear data on tubemate and force stop it.
turn off ur mobile/wifi and turn on again (to clear DNS cache)
Then open it again, and there will be no update prompt.

Of course u must be rooted to do so.
