A few of us are using it now and it installed ok. Also, you need to remove any previous version first before installing this due to signature change.

You need to show the error from logcat when you try install.

Need to uninstall the previous, before your can install this new version, obviously the old data will be lost, but that is ok, the new version is must nicer. Been running this app for almost 24hrs now, so far so good. Thumb up !

i had clean installed it. idk how to grab a log without installing an app. but here's the system log i grabbed while installing it. hope it helps. or u can tell me the procedure how to record the log without installing it.

Neither as a fresh install after the full deinstallation of older versions followed by a complete restart of the phone
Nor by trying to overinstall this new version on top of older ones.
In each case I simply see the useless 'application does not install' message.
I got 1.4.6 to work, and it does show two meters now. But only if selecting different colors for each meter. WTF?
A rather tiresome app, but I need the counters and meters.

I tried both the newly provided "a" and "b" version as clean installations on my NEO 003 (Android 4.2.1). Both DO install and DO run, thank you!

My 'snide' remarks about Android's lame error handling as well as the odd software bugs of this application are the result of my experiences with both. Rarely did I need to install, deinstall, replace, downrev and fiddle with an app that often (my phone has 496 apps installed), losing the network data and settings every time. But then it is the only one I know that can show transfer rates 'live' in the top bar.
Sometimes it is more advisable NOT trying to always use the newest revisions, as long as the old one is still working fine.

I agree with your last point alright. Especially in an app like this which is very tough to patch and has sneaky checks, which most likely change in each new version.
