Just updated to 3.88 . Problem for me is, the ability to choose what player the user wants to use. Now it's internal player or Mx only. Whilst I think Mx is one of the best around, I find it drains my battery twice as fast as, say, good player pro or any other decent player. I have several choices on my phone,all used depending on circumstances. I can't watch a 2 hour film using Mx as my battery dies. Even when connected to mains. (using HDMI cable to tv). Options please, anyone.

Use any video player you want , you are not limited to the 2 mentioned . Instead of streaming the movie download it.
Open your player of choice and point it at the showbox folder ( usually sdcard/show_box ) and select your movie/show that you downloaded . You can delete the movies once you have watched them or transfer to your pc.

This just started happening to my 3.87. I just downgraded. The older versions allowed me to send the video straight to my TV soI wouldn't have to drain my battery while watching on my .cell I don't know why they're forcing you to use internal or mx player now. Smh

because not all video players are equally capable? not all videos are well encoded?

these "free" movies are likely severely raped with compression and other poor choices


try VLC? open source

Why the hell would you do an adfree version? Isn't it enough with free tv shows, movies and music available free for HD stream and Download? Show some appreciation smh...
