i also wonder how to use Lucky Patcher properly to install this and get the license to work

LP patch not working ��

Mine is working well.
I have used Lucky Patcher to make 2 apk modified with removed license check (Open Menu of Patches, Create Modified APK file, Apk without License Verification).
Uninstall originals apps and install theses 2 news created.

Or just install the current version 2.3.7.1 from playstore and after that the unlocker from here. Then patch the BubbleUPNP license with LP ("Remove license check"). That's all.

It stops playing and exits after playing about 7 minutes of music. There seems to be another validity test here -- see PutterPlace's previous threads for this app. Thanks for trying tho.
