Overview: Sony has updated the “Movies” app with build numberv9.1.A.0.8 and in the process rebranded the app to “Video”.
Sony Mobile has today rolled updates to its Video application, depending on which handset you are running. For handsets on older firmware, Sony is rolling Video build number9.1.A.0.8 (upgraded from 9.2.A.0.6) which changes the name of the application from “Movies” to “Video”.
What's New
The first Video 9.2 beta release is now available. Please try it out.
Changes:
* Explore other contents while play back. Swipe down to shrink the video player with playback ongoing. Swipe up to maximize it again. Swipe left if you no longer want to view the video.
* When you interrupt video playback by pressing home icon, just press Video application icon on XPERIA home or application tray so that the player will be directly activated and you can resume the video.
This app has No advertisements
