thanks for this. i tried to buy this but it got pulled from the market. he said that he's trying to find a way to make updates available to those who already purchased it without allowing people to buy it new. so whoever bought this, hopefully they get to share the updates he releases to you exclusively.

Thanks for the app. I am on 2.2 and rooted and got this installed but it doesn't detect my HDMI. I have a brand new cable (just came in today) and I've got 3 HMDI ports on my tv but the app doesn't detect any of them. I know they work because I use two of them for my sat and xbox 360. Anyone have any idea what the issue could be.

It works. I had to go to Settings > HDMI > HDMI Format and change it to 720p @ 60Hz

Then it would work perfectly. I am using a $5 6ft cable from ebay.

im getting an error that the app isn't licensed so it isn't working. this app is the only reason i bought an hdmi cable, i can't even buy the app inthe market.

edit - nevermind i don't read, had to uninstall and reinstall works fine nwo thanks so much.

edit #2 - only worked for a m inute then i had the same error, bad license.

Tried uninstall - reinstall. Still the license problem!!!

BTW, if your TV complains it's getting an "incompatible signal", find a Setup HDMI menu for that TV input and make sure it's not on RGB but on YCbCr 4:4:4 or YCbCr 4:2;2. This solved the first problem of seeing anything on the TV. Now until we get a Real HDMI license issue fixed, you can only see pictures from the "Gallery".
