Why would you jump on the new version if 208 was ok and running? I'm still on it, enjoying my musique for quite some time now. I won't go up until I experience problems or some aweseme new features are introduced with new releses.

So far using that new test version yields no different results, I was "banned" before upgrading too it even after making a new account and getting a different IP. I'll try a few more things with it soon.

I keep getting " unknown media player error" message every time I try to run this.

The program... v2.08 loads and runs fine.

I have and HTC EVO. Do I need to install a different player??? Pandora works just fine but Grooveshark is not happy.

After working with lohan for quite a while on testing his cracks I can confidently (and sadly) say that the grooveshark app and service have extremely effective anti-piracy methods and all grooveshark cracking attempts by lohan are currently unsuccessful. The error you've encountered is exactly what grooveshark intended if it discovers you're using a cracked version. I'm not certain whether anyone is still trying to crack grooveshark tbh....

In the meantime I've been using the free "tinyshark" which can be found right in the market... It's not as good as the real app by any stretch of the imagination but it gets the job done for now. They recently released an update which made it slightly more bearable so I have hope that they'll be continuing development.

I use it without problems. It only works on WiFi though. I'm unable to get it to stream on 3G. I guess this is a common problem with Android + Grooveshark if you Google it.

It's not a problem specifically with Grooveshark. It seems a recent HTC OTA update broke 3g streaming on the EVO for Grooveshark, Rhapsody, Rdo, etc.
