Installed the Key app. Went back to PowerAmp and it still fails verification. I dont know what you did that magically made it work, but it is not working here based on the instructions you posted. I really hope Lohan or some one can crack this!

jer_stud56 wrote:Install PowerAMP build 297 and license-key. Using Droidwall does nothing to circumvent verification in any way. Same outcome with or without it.

Instructions:
1. install the unlock.apk (after that don't open)
2. install the main program apk (after that don't open)
3. Download Droidwall in the market and use it to forbid PowerAMP/PowerAMP Full Version Unlocker to access your data network.
4. Enjoy

In the application "Droid Wall" must disable the two boxes of PowerAmp / Licence and then restart mobile

Huh? I don't understand you. You got the "can not verify the license" in my version or the one in the original post? If it was my version then I guess maybe you do need to use Droid Wall.
Droid wall was a great find btw.
jer_stud56 wrote:Using Droid Wall only tells PowerAMP that it cannot find the market to check if it is verified or not
which in the case that it is not verified, it returns false and shuts you out of the program after a period of what seems to be 48 hrs. I've uninstalled and reinstalled fresh PowerAMP probably 10 different times, the same thing happens every time. I'm on Froyo 2.2.1 on Cyanogenmod.
I personally see no problems with the sound quality. For me, I love the UI. I havent seen a Music app UI that can compare. I can skip albums right from the player screen, and it seems more reactive then other music apps as well.stopthebus wrote:On a side note: I don't see what's all the hoopla is about. Sound is very compress and distorted. Sure you can have crank the bass and treble to your heart desire, but that's so 60s. It's more of a depth/space-ness/surround/clear/lively kind of thing now and that's not me saying, it's 40+ years of top notch research.
