As you all know, this isn't cracked. I've had the pleasure of having this version for 2 weeks and here's what I did/do. Note that it doesn't stop it from not verifying, just a work around.

Install Titanium Backup if you don't already have it ;).

viewtopic.php?f=438&t=151177

Uninstall any previous version and license-key of PowerAMP.

Install PowerAMP build 297 and license-key. Using Droidwall does nothing to circumvent verification in any way. Same outcome with or without it.

Set all of your settings how you want them...equalizer, options, etc.

Backup PowerAMP build 297 and license-key immediately after everything is how you want it via Titanium Backup.

After ~2 days the verification will fail. At that point, open Titanium Backup and restore data of the PowerAMP build 297 and license-key. Repeat.

I'll just go back to Music Mod as little as I listen to music on my phone... If PowerAmp was $3 I'd buy it, but I just think $5 is too much.

I really hope Lohan or some one can crack this!

In the application "Droid Wall" must disable the two boxes of PowerAmp / Licence and then restart mobile

For that my downloads be more comfortables, I advise to use "FIREFOX o CHROME" with the add-on "Adblock plus"

Exactly! After making sure that the boxes of PowerAmp / License are disabled, you must give the MENU button and then "Save Rules" and restart

you're totally wrong. With the app "Droid Wall" by Rodrigo ZR license error disappears. Please follow the steps I have indicated to run on Wall Droid, I swear it works.

Instructions:
1. install the unlock.apk (after that don't open)
2. install the main program apk (after that don't open)
3. Download Droidwall in the market and use it to forbid PowerAMP/PowerAMP Full Version Unlocker to access your data network.
4. Enjoy

Worked perfectly for mine, I had uninstall previous version

+1 for that. It doesn't work no matter what! Maybe it has to do with the android version we are running.
I am running 2.2.1 and it doesn't work.
Has anybody managed to run this for more than 2 weeks?

I found this version elsewhere. Build 230 but it works and doesnt need a separate apk to crack it. Now I have not tested it extensively, but it is the full version. I was able to get in and load an album and play a song with no problems which is farther then I ever got using the version in this thread! I still had droid wall still installed so I dont know if that helped with this version or what, but if this version fails, it is something to consider.

Huh? I don't understand you. You got the "can not verify the license" in my version or the one in the original post? If it was my version then I guess maybe you do need to use Droid Wall.

Droid wall was a great find btw.

Version 230 was "cracked" to put both files into one file, and circumvent the license that way. Newer versions haven't been cracked that way for some unknown reason.

Using Droid Wall only tells PowerAMP that it cannot find the market to check if it is verified or not - which in the case that it is not verified, it returns false and shuts you out of the program after a period of what seems to be 48 hrs. I've uninstalled and reinstalled fresh PowerAMP probably 10 different times, the same thing happens every time. I'm on Froyo 2.2.1 on Cyanogenmod.

Droid wall does nothing to the android market, which this app is checking its purchase against.
There might be circumstance where people don't have access to the market, in which case, this will work. There are case where the popup license error is gone, but if you go into the menu you will see license verify failed.

On a side note: I don't see what's all the hoopla is about. Sound is very compress and distorted. Sure you can have crank the bass and treble to your heart desire, but that's so 60s. It's more of a depth/space-ness/surround/clear/lively kind of thing now and that's not me saying, it's 40+ years of top notch research.

Obvious statement of the year. ;)

Then use the version I posted. I have used it multiple times in the past 48 hours and have not had to reinstall once. Sure it would be nice to have build 297, but has it actually added new features or just bug fixes? I havent looked at the change log personally so I cant say but unless there is some new cant live with out feature, or build 230 has some horribly unstable bug for you, I would just go with build 240 and you have a permanent(I assume) working version. I am on Eclair 2.1 Preclair rom.

I personally see no problems with the sound quality. For me, I love the UI. I havent seen a Music app UI that can compare. I can skip albums right from the player screen, and it seems more reactive then other music apps as well.
