Agreed, the player worked great, but then went downhill after it became a trial/paid app. FC's galore (after a few seconds of playing a rmvb video, sometimes it'll not even load the video). Back to RockPlayer or converting to h264.

the best video player I've found by far -- and by "best" I don't mean GUI but best at keeping audio & video in sync -- is Vitalplayer...which is also free.

I'm running an HTC Incredible and have tried RockPlayer, mVideo, QQPlayer, VPlayer, Act 1, MoboPlayer, and none of them have performed as consistently well as Vitalplayer.

I must say this is the best player. I have used Rockplayer before, but after trying VPlayer I changed my opinion. The video is now much smoother and higher quality. I use Handbrake to transform the videos at average bitrate 550kbps. MKV, H.264 codec.

few issues with some AVi files on my Huawei IDEOS X6 not sure what compression the files where...it was probably mkv, tried to play then crashed back to file explorer. nice player though

i had vplayer from market 'couse i couldnt install vplayer.apk with x10.. this is the only one application which write "application not installed" when i want to install.
But now vplayer isnt in the market. and i cant install it.. what can i do?
