people who cant install it or when click on video it closes then make sure your cpu is armv7 neon,,the issue i got is people have x86 cpu then they getting above error as the apk is for arm only

if you have root can u please install original mx player and run it in offline mode and see the issue

Sorry but I don't know how to take logcat, yes phone is rooted, I didn't get well "run it in offline mode"?
I have snapdragon 400 so I think it is armv7 neon, OS is v 5.0.2
I did install MX player free from playstore and the HW+ works, so I think the issue is patch related, thanks again

Hi Jasi, do Logcat Extreme also can? I set the logcat to verbose (show all), select per app logcat and choose MX Player Pro. Then i browse to the video folder. Before play, i switch back to logcat and clear all first, to make sure the log is clean. Then switch back to MX Player pro, play the video, wait until crash and reload. FYI, I am using android LP 5.1.1, rooted, xposed, PS Mod, SoC is SD617 ARMv8 64 bit (with 64 bit ROM). Turning off the H/W+, the video play properly. Turning on H/W+, then the above error came out. Happens in all videos which use H/W+. Seems like the problem only come out in ARMv8 SoC, when H/W+ is on. I know u stated it is for ARMv7, but shouldn't they are backward compatible? Thanks in advance.

I don't know if anyone cares but it works on 4.4.2 (Kit kat). Can anyone tell me ac-3 and DTS are added? I would appreciate it. I can't seem to find a way to look at those.

either the error is wrong,try to crash it again and take logcat from uret patcher
