unable to install or installation failed, any help or advice?

Same problem here. I'm thinking I might have to uninstall the old version and install the new one. The only problem I have is that I don't want to lose my playlists and eq settings

tried it on a 2 epics and both are a no good for me. tried uninstalling old version on 1 and tried it on my friends phone who never had mixzing install

So, has anybody had any luck getting this thing to work?

Got it to install but still have ads. How do you get rid of the ads?

lypang, you can add some servers in /etc/hosts (root) to block the adds.

thats right but unless you know what servers then you might as well just tap randomly on the keyboard.
I use this host file to block my ads. http://dnlgee.me.uk/blog/?page_id=384 . Just copy it to /etc/ and replace your original host file.

I also confirm that ads are still there. However, they only show up for a few seconds and then disappear by themselves.

Great app. For installation over existing version, uninstall first and than install.
I must say that in the last versions (3.2.3 & 3.2.1) performance is degraded. Can be noticed when you browse for a song in folder and than play it. The running circle is displayed way too long.

if we have to find our own ways to block the ads, we may as well download the version from the market? i thought the whole point of is to have no ads.

why not use droidwall to block this app from accessing internet, so u will not hav ads at all
